01 — Shipping Methods

Shipping Methods

All orders ship from our production facility. Delivery estimates begin after the handling period is complete.

Rush orders: Rush processing prioritises your order in the production queue but does not guarantee a specific delivery date. Timelines may vary based on order complexity, material availability, and current workload. Custom and unlacquered brass items may require additional production time even with rush processing — they will still be treated as priority.
5 PM EST
Daily Order Cut-Off Time Orders placed after 5 PM EST will begin processing on the next business day. Plan accordingly for time-sensitive projects.

02 — Production

Manufacturing Lead Times

PlatePrestige hardware is crafted to order — each piece is made specifically for your project, not pulled from generic stock.

Many of our products are made to order to ensure the quality and precision our hardware is known for. Production timelines vary by product type, finish, and customisation level.
  • Made to OrderYour order is manufactured specifically for you after purchase. This ensures consistent finish quality and precision across every piece.
  • Variable Production TimesManufacturing timelines depend on the product type, finish selection, and level of customisation. Standard finishes are typically faster than unlacquered or custom options.
  • Complex & Custom OrdersOrders involving custom configurations, special finishes, or larger quantities may require additional production time beyond standard estimates. We will communicate any significant delays proactively.

03 — Order Changes

Order Modifications & Cancellations

Because our products enter production quickly, modification and cancellation windows are limited. Please review your order carefully before placing it.

12 hrs
Modification & Cancellation Window All change requests must be submitted within 12 hours of placing your order. After this window, production may have already begun.
  • How to Request a ChangeContact us at info@plateprestige.com within 12 hours of placing your order. Include your order number and the specific change you need.
  • After 12 HoursOnce the modification window has passed, your order is likely already in production and cannot be modified or cancelled. We are unable to make exceptions once manufacturing has begun.
  • Already Processed OrdersFor orders that have been completed or shipped, please refer to our Return & Exchange Policy for available options.

04 — Delivery Address

Incorrect Address Policy

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. Errors in delivery information can result in lost shipments that fall outside our responsibility.

  • Customer ResponsibilityCustomers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information at the time of checkout. Review your address carefully before confirming your order.
  • Our LiabilityPlatePrestige is not responsible for lost, delayed, or undeliverable shipments resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout.
  • Marked as DeliveredIf your tracking shows a package as delivered but you have not received it, please contact the shipping carrier directly. Carriers are best positioned to investigate delivery discrepancies.

Address correction window

If you realise your address is incorrect after placing an order, contact us immediately at info@plateprestige.com. Address corrections are only possible within the 12-hour modification window, before production begins.

Tax and duty treatment differs between domestic US orders and international shipments.

Responsibility Recipient (customer)
International customers are responsible for any applicable import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees charged by their country upon delivery. These charges are outside our control and are not included in your order total at checkout.

Delayed Deliveries

All delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Occasional delays occur due to factors outside our control.

Once your order leaves our facility, delivery is handled by third-party carriers. We are not liable for delays caused by carrier operations, customs processing, or external disruptions — but we will always do our best to help you track down your shipment.

Common causes of delivery delays include:

  • Adverse weather or natural events
  • International customs processing
  • Carrier operational disruptions

What to do if your order is significantly delayed

If your order is well outside the estimated delivery window, contact us at info@plateprestige.com with your order number. We will investigate with the carrier on your behalf and provide an update as quickly as possible.

Where is my order?
Tracking information is sent to your email address once your order ships. If you have not received a tracking email, check your spam folder or contact us at info@plateprestige.com with your order number.
Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?
Address changes must be requested within 12 hours of placing your order by contacting info@plateprestige.com. After this window, your order may already be in production and address changes cannot be guaranteed.
Does free shipping apply to all orders?
Standard free shipping applies to all orders. Rush order upgrades are available at checkout for time-sensitive projects. Delivery estimates begin after your handling and production period is complete.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship internationally. Please note that international orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, and customs fees upon arrival, which are the responsibility of the recipient.
