Yes. Every knob and handle in this collection is made from solid brass — not plated metal, not zinc alloy, and not hollow construction. Solid brass is heavier, more durable, and develops a richer patina over time compared to plated alternatives.
Brass-plated hardware is a base metal (usually zinc or steel) with a thin brass coating that chips, tarnishes unevenly, and eventually peels. Solid brass hardware is brass all the way through — it wears evenly, develops a natural patina, and lasts decades. PlatePrestige hardware is solid brass only.
All cabinet knobs and handles include standard 8-32 thread mounting screws. Single-hole knobs include one screw; bar pulls and handles include two screws sized to match the center-to-center spacing of the handle.
For warm, traditional kitchens: Aged Brass or Antique Brass. For a natural look that evolves with use: Unlacquered Brass. For modern or industrial kitchens: Matte Black. For a cool, contemporary finish: Brushed Nickel. All finishes are available across the full range of knobs, pulls, and handles.
Yes. Our cabinet knobs use a standard 8-32 thread and work with virtually all cabinet doors and drawers. Bar pulls require a pre-drilled hole matching the center-to-center spacing of the handle — check the product page for the exact spacing before ordering.
Yes. For longer bar pulls and appliance pulls, visit our long cabinet handles collection. We stock handles from 3" to 18"+ center-to-center to fit standard drawer and appliance panel sizes.
Absolutely. PlatePrestige makes solid brass light switches, dimmers, and outlet covers in the same finishes as our cabinet hardware. Pairing matching hardware throughout a kitchen or bathroom creates a fully coordinated, high-end look. See our brass light switches collection.
