Terms of Service – PlatePrestige

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PlatePrestige website ("Site") and your purchase of any products from PlatePrestige, operated by Brighthub Innovations MB , ("PlatePrestige", "we", "us", "our"). Please read these Terms carefully before placing an order.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

  • By accessing the Site, creating an order, or completing checkout, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, including our Return & Exchange Policy, Shipping Policy, and Privacy Policy, which are incorporated by reference and made available at checkout and on the Site at all times.

  • Completion of checkout constitutes your express acknowledgment and acceptance of these Terms and of our Return & Exchange Policy.

  • If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not place an order or use the Site.

2. General Conditions

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel service, orders, or accounts at our sole discretion, including where we suspect fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.

  • Product pricing, availability, and specifications are subject to change without notice. In the event of an obvious pricing or listing error, we may cancel the affected order and issue a full refund.

  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site or service at any time without liability.

3. Orders, Acceptance & Cancellation

  • Your order constitutes an offer to purchase. An order is accepted only when we issue a shipping confirmation; an order confirmation email does not by itself constitute acceptance.

  • Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days. Production of custom or made-to-order items may take 2–3 weeks.

  • Orders may be changed or canceled only within 12 hours of placement. After 12 hours, orders enter processing and can no longer be changed or canceled; any post-shipment remedy is governed exclusively by Section 6 (Returns & Exchanges).

4. Payment Terms

  • All prices are listed in U.S. dollars (USD). Payment is due in full at checkout.

  • We accept major credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. Orders are not fulfilled until payment has been authorized and confirmed.

  • You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided and that all billing information is accurate.

5. Shipping, Delivery & Risk of Loss

  • We offer standard and priority shipping options. Delivery timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

  • Each shipment is assigned a carrier tracking number, which is provided to you. The carrier's delivery confirmation (including delivery scan, timestamp, GPS data, or signature, where available) constitutes conclusive proof of delivery to the shipping address provided at checkout.

  • Risk of loss passes to you upon the carrier's confirmed delivery to the shipping address you provided. You are responsible for providing an accurate and secure delivery address.

  • International orders may be subject to customs duties and taxes, which are the responsibility of the buyer (except U.S. orders, where all duties are included).

6. Returns & Exchanges

  • Return window. Returns and exchanges of non-custom items are accepted within 14 days of the carrier-confirmed delivery date. Requests received after this window will not be accepted.

  • Return authorization is mandatory. All returns must be authorized in advance. To request a return, submit our official Return Form or email info@plateprestige.com with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return. We will respond within 2 business days with a Return Authorization number (RA#) and return shipping instructions.

  • Unauthorized returns. Items returned without a valid RA#, or shipped to an address other than the one we provide in the return instructions, will be refused and will not be eligible for a refund.

  • Condition of returned items. Items must be returned unused, uninstalled, and in their original packaging. Items showing signs of installation, use, or damage may be refused or subject to a deduction.

  • Return shipping costs. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective or we shipped an incorrect item. We recommend using a tracked shipping method; PlatePrestige is not responsible for return shipments lost in transit.

  • Non-returnable items. Custom, engraved, or made-to-order, all handles,knobs and pulls. 3-4-5-6 gang switch plates are non-returnable and non-refundable, except where defective.

7. Refunds

  • No refund is issued before the merchandise is returned. Refunds are processed only after the returned item(s) have been received at our return address and have passed inspection. A request to return an item, on its own, does not entitle you to a refund or credit.

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 3–10 business days of inspection. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

  • If a returned item does not meet the conditions in Section 6, we may, at our discretion, refuse the refund, apply a deduction, or return the item to you at your expense.

8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

  • If you have any issue with your order — including non-delivery, defects, or a refund request — you agree to contact us first at info@plateprestige.com and allow us a reasonable opportunity (at least 5 business days) to resolve the matter before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback with your bank or card issuer.

  • Initiating a chargeback for merchandise that has been delivered (as evidenced by carrier confirmation) and that you have not returned in accordance with Section 6 constitutes a breach of these Terms.

  • If a payment is reversed while you remain in possession of the merchandise, you are not entitled to retain both the merchandise and the reversed funds. In such cases you must, within 14 days, either return the merchandise (we will provide a prepaid return label) or repay the order amount. We reserve the right to recover the value of unreturned merchandise, associated dispute fees, and reasonable collection or legal costs, and to report fraudulent disputes to relevant fraud prevention services and authorities.

  • We reserve the right to refuse future orders from any customer who has filed a chargeback determined to be unwarranted.

9. Product Certifications & Compliance

At PlatePrestige, we are committed to quality craftsmanship and transparency.

Certification Disclosure:

  • Only select internal components (such as toggle switches, dimmers, and outlets) are UL-listed for U.S. use.

  • Decorative parts, such as smooth toggle switches and brass wall plates, are not UL-certified.

  • UL listing is not legally required in all residential settings, but may be necessary for projects subject to local inspections or insurance requirements.

Customer Responsibility:

  • It is your responsibility to verify compliance with your local building codes and regulations before purchase and installation.

  • By purchasing from us, you assume full responsibility for the selection, use, and installation of any non-certified items.

  • All electrical products must be installed by, or under the supervision of, a qualified or licensed electrician in accordance with applicable electrical codes.

Intended Use:

  • Our products are intended for decorative or residential interior use by informed buyers, designers, or licensed contractors.

  • If you are unsure about product suitability, please consult an electrician before purchasing.

10. Intellectual Property

  • All content on this site — including text, images, graphics, logos, product designs, documentation, and software — is the property of PlatePrestige or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use of any content may result in civil and criminal penalties.

    The interactive product configurator available on this site ("Build Your Own"), including its 3D models, texture assets, rendered preview images, visual presentation, and underlying code, was developed exclusively for PlatePrestige and constitutes proprietary intellectual property of PlatePrestige. Any reproduction, extraction, reverse engineering, or reuse of the configurator or its assets — in whole or in part — is strictly prohibited.

    Customer review photographs and user-submitted content published on this site remain the property of their respective authors. By submitting content to PlatePrestige, users grant PlatePrestige a non-exclusive license to display such content. Reproduction or redistribution of user-submitted content by third parties is prohibited without express written consent.

    You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, scrape, reverse engineer, or exploit any site content — including images, product descriptions, configurator assets, or customer review media — without prior written permission from PlatePrestige Violations will be pursued under applicable intellectual property law, including but not limited to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

  • Except as expressly stated in these Terms or required by applicable law, products and the Site are provided "as is" and "as available," and we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

  • Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the laws applicable to you.

12. Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PlatePrestige shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, or data, arising from or related to your use of the Site or products.

  • To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to any order shall not exceed the amount you paid for that order.

  • PlatePrestige is not responsible for damage or loss resulting from improper installation, misuse, modification, or failure to comply with local codes or electrical standards.

  • Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.

13. Indemnification

  • You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PlatePrestige and its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the products, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.

14. Force Majeure

  • We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, carrier disruptions, supplier failures, labor disputes, governmental actions, or network outages. Delivery timelines are extended accordingly.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [GOVERNING JURISDICTION — e.g., the Republic of Lithuania], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws of your country or state of residence that apply notwithstanding this choice of law.

  • Before commencing any formal proceeding, both parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute informally by contacting info@plateprestige.com.

  • Any dispute not resolved informally shall be submitted to the courts of [VENUE], unless mandatory law grants you the right to bring proceedings in your place of residence.

16. Severability, Waiver & Entire Agreement

  • If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

  • Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other.

  • These Terms, together with the policies incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and PlatePrestige regarding your purchase and use of the Site.

17. Changes to These Terms

  • We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
