2-Gang Brass Dimmer Switch – Dual Rotary Control

This 2-gang brass dimmer set combines two rotary dimmer controls on one 4.7″ × 4.7″ solid brass wall plate. Choose it for two separately controlled lighting groups at the same wall location. The 0.080″ plate fits standard U.S. 2-gang wall boxes and includes brass screws. Select your finish and Dimmer Type above, or compare other dimmer switch layouts.

Highlights

  • Dual rotary dimmer switches – smooth dimming + intuitive ON/OFF control
  • Solid brass construction – full-thickness, no overlays
  • Multiple finishes – aged brass, matte black, unlacquered & more
  • Living finish option – unlacquered brass develops natural patina
  • Standard fit – compatible with North American 2-gang wall boxes
  • Includes hardware – lacquered brass screws included

Our 2-Gang Brass Dimmer Switches Are Best For

  • Kitchens with pendants and recessed lights controlled separately
  • Bedrooms with a main ceiling fixture and wall sconces on one plate
  • Living rooms with overhead lighting and accent lights on different dimmers
  • Dining rooms with chandeliers and nearby accent lighting

Two Dimmers or a Dimmer and Toggle?

A double dimmer is for two lighting groups that each need brightness control. It is different from a toggle-and-dimmer combination, which pairs one on/off toggle with one rotary dimmer. Choose the control functions you need, not just the number of positions on the plate.

Choose the Right Two-Gang Set

  • Check the circuit at each control. Two-gang means two controls on one plate; it does not mean two-location control of the same light. Confirm single-pole or 3-way requirements with your electrician.
  • Choose Dimmer Type separately from the finish. The menu offers “Single Pole” and “Single Pole / 3-Way – Works with both setups.” Check the chosen module's operation and load requirements. If the two positions need different module types, contact us before ordering this set.
  • Match the plate footprint. The plate measures 4.7″ × 4.7″. Check the space around the existing two-gang box and any marks left by the old plate; a larger plate does not change the box layout.
  • Coordinate the finish. Aged Brass and Unlacquered Aged Brass are separate options. The unlacquered finish starts aged and continues to develop. See the brass finish comparison before matching the rest of the room.

Single-Pole vs 3-Way

  • Single-Pole: ON/OFF is a click while rotating, then continue turning to dim.
  • 3-Way: push the knob for ON/OFF, then rotate to dim.

Before You Buy

Confirm the chosen dimmer module is compatible with each lighting group's bulbs or LED drivers before ordering. A dimmable bulb is not automatically compatible with every dimmer. These dimmers are not compatible with trailing-edge, 0–10V, ELV, or smart bulbs. Your electrician should check the circuit arrangement, minimum and maximum load, and any manufacturer requirements for two dimmers installed together. Check each control separately; do not add the two module ratings together to size one lighting circuit.

  • Use dimmable bulbs only
  • Fits standard U.S. wall boxes
  • Available in single pole and 3-way options
  • Made for 2-gang layouts
  • Check maximum load ratings before installation
